25th November 2007 Windsurfing: Bradfield Wind Direction: WNW Wind Stength: 10/17 Surf / Sea State: calm to choppy Air Temperature: 7 Sea Temperature: 13 Weather: cloudy Max Speed: 22 (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 17.9 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) Out for 1 hour 50 mins !!!!! started off in fairly light 10 mph but increased to 17 + as the tide turned.Beat to mistley then reached to the other side of Holbrook bay where the wind was strongest and the river the roughest !!!! The only trouble here is when the tide flows out the same direction as the wind it's harder to stay upwind.It's a lovelly place to sail very pretty with loads of birds to see !!!! Maggie (my wife) came she read the papers a had along walk and we had lunch in the camper - I don't think I'd sail this time of year without it !!!! |
